I have often been asked online by other girls who would like to have their first lesbian experience, how to find other girls who are also into women. Especially for shy and/or feminine girls it often seems to be a big problem to get in contact with other bisexual or lesbian women.

In following article, I will give you some „expert“ tips, what you can do (even as a shy person), to find other bisexual or lesbian girls and how to make the first move:

1. You could make an account in „Tinder“, „her“, „OKCupid“, „Hinge“ and „FEM“ to search for other girls/women.
2. Give other women a hint that you are into women. For example, wear a button, patch, jewelry or accessories in the colors of the rainbow or with the double Venus sign.
   I know, it takes a lot of courage to come out so openly as homosexual in public.
   But if there are places, such as at school or at home, where you don’t want to come out yet, you can take the signs off again or hide them.
   In any case, I can tell you from my own experience that I have been approached by other women from time to time because of these hints and then you have a nice topic for a conversation right away. And if you like her, just ask her if she fancies a coffee…
3. Go to gay/lesbian bars/clubs/cafés/parties. If you search for it at the internet, I’m sure there are some near you. Just go there and order a drink. You don’t have to do anything. Just wait and you will see, there is a good chance, that someone is approaching you and starts talking with you. If you see a woman, who you like, you can search for some eye-contact and so she will know, that you are interessted in her. In my experiences there is nearly a 100% chance, that you will find an experienced lesbian this way, who would love to take your lesbian virginity! 😉
4. Go to LGBT+ events or organisations. Maybe you can offer your help (which would be great anyway) or just go to the events. So you will be surrounded by lots of lesbians and with a little luck, you will find someone you like.
5. For some reason, an above-average number of women are lesbian or bisexual in certain sports, most notably soccer, handball, field hockey, and ruckby.
   I once had a girlfriend who played handball in the national league and she told me that probably about half of the women on her team are queer.
   From personal experience, I can say, that many dancers are also lesbian or bisexual, especially in jazz/modern dance and contemporary dance.
   So, if you are into sports, you could join one of these sports clubs. Then look out for signs in your team about who might be a lesbian. There are also often rumors about who is gay and who is not.
6. Prepare some notes, with the following text: „Sorry, I’m a little bit shy, but I just wanted to say that you are gorgeous! If you would like to go on a date with me, just call me or text me: xxxx“, or something similar. The notes should look like, you have written them spontaneously for example on a serviette or a post-it or the backside of your business card or something like this. Then when ever and where ever you see an attractive woman, just go over to her, give her the note with a smile and leave. You don’t even have to say a word. There is quite a good chance, that she will contact you and ask you for a date. Of course most of the women will never contact you, but who cares? You need just one hit, right!? Many women are just as curious about having sex with another woman as you are. Make some comments how good her hands feel on your body. Offer the same to her. Make some compliments about her body. Ask her frankly, if she likes only men or if she likes women too.
